Oh Winter, an original poem

Oh Winter, an original poem

Oh winter you might seem wonderful, to a certain few.

Oh winter you might be lovely, yes that might be true.

With sledding and with snow, you might be beautiful.

But I’ve lived in Michigan for way too long, and now you’re really dull.

Oh winter I despise you, ‘cuz cold is not for me.

Yeah, I hate the snow, I hate the cold and in Florida I’d rather be.

I refuse to accept every single part of you.

I don’t like sledding, I don’t like snow, though it makes everything look new.

Oh winter I can’t stand you, no matter what they say.

The only thing you’re good for is the very rare snow day.
